November 22nd, 2021

If you are baying a product or a service from a new retailer for the first time, it can be nice to have a sense of whether the retailer is credible. Trustpilot is a platform where you can hear other people’s opinions about e.g. a product or service of different companies. This is done through ratings and written reviews.

We conducted a quick poll with the participation of our panel members in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Ireland and asked them if, and for what purpose they use Trustpilot.

Results of our Quick Poll show that Denmark is the first on the list when it comes to the use of Trustpilot. The results reveal namely that around 67 percent of Danes use Trustpilot – both to give their reviews, but also to read what other people say about different products and services.

When it comes to Ireland, the number of those who use Trustpilot is a little bit lower, and it amounts 42 percent. Our results also reveal that there is respectively around 28 and 30 percent of Trustpilot users in Sweden and Norway, while Finland is the country that has the smallest number of users of Trustpilot – 16 percent.

But Danes are not only the biggest users of Trustpilot among their northern neighbors – they are also more eager to give negative reviews. They give namely twice as many negative reviews as Finnish and Normans.
