In 2018, Userneeds funded a health clinic in Benin together with donations from Danish members who donated their points. Since then, our panel members in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and most recently Ireland have had the opportunity to donate their points to the health clinic. In 2019, our panel members donated a total of 16,600 Danish kroner. Now we have just sent a new donation to the clinic.
In April 2018, Userneeds built a health clinic in the city of Massé in the West African country, Benin, in collaboration with our Danish panel members and Denmark’s largest privately funded children rights organization, Planbørnefonden. The Danish panel members have contributed by donating their points to the project and answering surveys about charity. The purpose of building the clinic was, among other things, to improve the welfare and upbringing of children in the village. In particular, the focus has been on the women and their families regarding for example having proper conditions to weigh the children and nutrition lessons. At the same time, a purpose was to minimize the risk of hygiene-related diseases.
The clinic was done being built in August 2018 and has since helped women and children through better conditions and greater health. In addition, it is possible for our panel members in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and most recently Ireland to donate their points to the project. Last year in 2019, our panel members donated a total of 16,600 Danish kroner to the health clinic. We have now sent a new donation from our panel members from the period 1 January to May 31, where our panel members have donated a total of 6,500 Danish kroner.
In Userneeds’ panels, it is possible to donate your points to several charities – you can see which ones on your personal member page, log in here.
Thank you to all of you who have donated your points. The money has a great importance for the people of the village.
