Exercise is important to keep the body healthy. It gives us more energy to the daily chores and lowers the risk of developing different diseases. But staying active on a regular basis can be difficult because of lack of motivation and time. We have asked our panel members in a quick poll the question: How much do you exercise on a weekly basis?
Exercise is important and keeps the body healthy. Exercising regularly can improve the muscle strength and endurance. Further, it lowers a person’s risk of developing some diseases, including obesity, type 2 diabetes, and high blood pressure. But even though we are aware of the advantages of exercise, it can be difficult to find the motivation and time to do it. At Userneeds we found it interesting to ask our panel members in the Nordics and Ireland the question: How much do you exercise on a weekly basis?
The result from the quick poll shows that it is different how much time our panel members exercise on a weekly basis. Between 9 percent (Finland) and 20 percent (Denmark) do exercise less than one hour a week. The percentage who do exercise between one and two hours a week is between 18 percent (Ireland) and 22 percent (Denmark, Sweden and Finland).
At the same time, between 15 percent (Sweden) and 25 percent (Finland) do exercise between two and three hours a week. This percentage is 18 percent in respectively Denmark and Norway and 19 percent in Ireland. Ireland is the panel where most panel members (40 percent) exercise more than three hours a week. In Finland second most exercise more than three times a week as 37 percent has answered this option. The percentage is 20 percent in Sweden, 23 percent in Denmark and 28 percent in Norway. Thereby, most of Userneeds’ panel members exercise on a weekly basis – between 77 percent (Sweden) and 93 percent (Finland). Finland and Ireland are the countries with the biggest part of the panel doing exercise. Above means that only between 7 percent (Finland) and 23 percent (Sweden) never do exercise.
Userneeds’ panel members exercise and try to keep their bodies healthy. Especially the panel members in Finland and Ireland find the time and motivation to exercise some hours a week.
We hope you find the result from the quick poll interesting and we appreciate all answers.
