There are many ways to track your physical activity for instance by using apps, activity bands or fitness watches. We were curious to know whether or not this option is something our panel members use and thus we asked them: ”Have you ever used a smartphone app, a fitness tracker or other gadgets to optimize your health, productivity or similar?”
It’s never been easier to track your level of activity and monitor it on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. The overview makes it easier for the user to see potential progress, set goals and stay motivated and for whatever reason Userneeds’ panel members seem to follow this trend.
Nearly 70 percent in the Nordics and Ireland have used a gadget, an app or something similar to optimize and track their health, as a matter of fact, the vast majority have done so more than once and between 12 and 17 percent in Denmark, Sweden and Norway do it all the time. In Finland this goes for 21 percent and in Ireland 24 percent have answered that they always use a fitness tracker or something similar to optimize their health and productivity.
In the Danish panel you find the biggest percentage who has never used any form of tracker. 46 percent compared to for instance 27 percent in Norway answer ”No” when asked if they have used a smartphone app, a fitness tracker or other gadgets to optimize their health.
