Personal interview with your target audience
The knowledge of your target group and their reactions is extremely relevant if you want to achieve success with your product or service. This requires in-depth knowledge of selected people’s assessments of the message, concept or communication in question.
The in-depth interview makes it possible to highlight very complex issues. The exploratory potential of the form of analysis provides an opportunity to obtain valuable “new knowledge” that the quantitative methods cannot uncover. As the interview often takes place at the respondent’s home, it makes the respondent feel more confident and relaxed, and thus more open and willing to answer in-depth questions. At the same time, the respondent is prevented from being influenced by other respondents, which is why there is an opportunity for the respondent to elaborate and justify his/hers views and statements.
Telephone and/or online interview
In-depth interviews by telephone or as an online video interview are flexible and cost-effective, while at the same time making it easier to reach hard-to-reach target groups and ensure geographical spread. It is also possible here to test messages, communication and concepts or show projective material to facilitate the conversation through screen sharing.
